Kate found Yoga after dancing seriously in high school. She found the integration of physical shapes, movement, and breath to be a powerful method of holistic wellness. In Chicago, Kate completed her 200-hr (2016) and Prenatal (2017) certifications at Bloom Yoga Studio, before flying down south and completing an advanced program in Yoga Therapeutics (2020) through the Center for Integrative Yoga Studies. Most recently she has become a certified Corrective Core Exercise Specialist (PCES), supporting pre and postpartum bodies with healing movement and breathwork.

Kate felt drawn to supporting folks transitioning to parenthood and uses her experience as a trauma-informed, therapeutic teacher to create a safe, nurturing space for people experiencing pregnancy and birth. She enjoys fostering connections between students and encouraging confidence and resiliency through practice.

Her former life in the corporate world, highlighted the importance of practical, accessible movement for people with 9-5 desk jobs. Kate enjoys sharing practices that have immediate benefit and can be used in work settings to refocus and recharge.
